ALL BLACK EVERYTHING

The 68th annual Cannes Film Festival has begun and the entertainment industry’s A-Listers have descended upon France ready to do the “Look at me” dance yet again. From singers to actors and models alike, the French Riviera just got that much more attractive. Many of these public figures will first land at the Cote d’Azur International Airport in Nice before arriving at their final destination of Cannes. Many also made it clear that for them, dressing in all black (or at least 90%) is still the way to go when aiming for a chic and/or pulled together look at the airport. Jesus, where is Lady Gaga when you need her?

John Legend opted for a leather jacket, a v-neck tee, slim denim, Converse sneakers and drowned out any noise with, you guessed it, black headphones. Julianne Moore, Liya Kebede and Lupita Nyong’o all chose the leather jacket which I’m not surprised with. Ms. Nyong’o veered left with a black head-wrap and white tee therefore winning the title of Best Dressed out of this batch of All Black Everything fans.

While I might not be a fan of dressing in black from head to toe, I have done it before and I’ll probably do it again. That’s why I pulled together the quintessential A.B.E.E. (All Black Everything Ensemble) with each piece coming in at under $150. Carry on.
